This place really is the soul of Tétouan. I had a wonderful stay at this riad. The room I was placed in is fit for a queen, huge and airy, with a big, comfy bed and plenty of couch room. The windows face the central room, but since there aren't many rooms in the riad, it was quiet and private. The building is beautiful and gets plenty of sunlight, it has a fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful shaded terrace. The location is great, less than 2 mins away from Bab Tut in the medina (just make sure you ask for directions before arrival, as Google maps doesn't reflect the medina correctly), with plenty of places to shop for veggies, fruit, pastries, fish, meals, etc., and yet I couldn't hear the medina noise from my room, which I liked. The best part of the riad is certainly the staff, who offer you the full experience of Moroccan hospitality. Naima was very kind and kept the place impeccably clean every day, and Lotfi was always getting out of his way to make you feel at home, whether it was with advice, tea or homecooked meals, or even taking you to places around the medina. I felt at home and would come back any time! Shokran bezzaf!

Mohamed from the reception was such a kind spirit on so many levels! The room was clean and perfect, breakfast was so delicious and they helped us with everything we needed! Riad darna is a must! We had to last minute change our dates because of some private reasons and they didn't even discuss or anything, they did everything smootly and arranged it so we won't have anything to worry about! Riad Dalia is a traditional Moroccan riad of 7 rooms and suits. Magnificent house-palace of the 18th century belonged to Dfouf family. In 1930s housed Dutch consul in Spanish Morocco. Riad is located in the historic center of Tetouan, Medina, a city that has been proclaimed the cultural heritage of UNESCO in 1997. Very easy to find (on square Ousaa , near the tourist police post). Patio of the house is open space used as a dining room and is surrounded by 4 columns that support the second floor. Suite I had was on 3rd floor accessible by steep steps. Room is huge with very high ceiling, and red light entering the room through the red stained windows, window facing the Royal palace, to the west, and 2 windows to the east terrace. Wonderful light during the day. Breakfast was very good, traditional, with fresh squeezed orange juice, omelet with local cheese (jben beldi), olives and olive oil, bread, honey and jam, and coffee or tea. Thanks specially to Redouane who took care of me during my stay. All was perfect and authentic, wonderful view to the souk and palace from the window, fresh air 3 terraces offers 360deg view of Tetouan. Definitely would be back there for my next stay!
