The Chester drawer ( to store clothes) in the room was broken. All four drawers were broken. Had a very difficult time opening all the drawers. This piece of furniture is extremely poor quality. I cannot believe it has not been reported and fixed. I was very disappointed.

The bed was not comfortable, hard as a rock . Only a night stand on one side of the bed. I put my water on the floor. The check in clerk had to finish her personal conversation before she checked us in. Maybe I should have interrupted her conversation but I’m to polite . I had to call everyday to get clean towels and coffee setup. They never cleaned the room and we stayed 3 nights.

The night desk attendant was dismissive to another guest who had a concern about a neighboring guests volume.

The location was perfect! Sitting on the balcony and watching the sunrise followed by a walk on the beach searching for shells was memorable and convenient. Bonnie was great. I called to change rooms after booking a handicap accessible room and she was very accommodating and understanding. It was a perk that the room had cable, not just a few channels. Also, the breakfast provided was made the room an even better value!

I had a room with a noisy AC n heating unit, 204. I was loud when it cycled on and of course it was cold Tues thru Thursday.

We have stayed in this Hotel before. As usual, it was a great stay. Check in, quick n easy. Rooms clean and ready. Breakfast and kitchen staff was excellent. I had room on the second floor with a noisy AC n heating unit. Loud when it cycled on.

The view of the ocean was great, and the location was good. Not as busy as the more touristy area to the east. Our room was very large, and spacious. Breakfast included was super. Pretty busy at breakfast time, but we managed to have a table every day. There was a pair of people who I would consider to be food hoarders, which disturbed me a bit, because of the wastefulness of it. It costs the hotel money which eventually gets passed down to the more considerate people in the end.

Location is good and away from the action. Breakfast was mediocre, usually with a single fruit option, and eggs which didn’t taste anything. I don’t understand why other reviews praised the breakfast, maybe people that only care for eggs in the morning?

The A/C wasn't working correctly, so the first night was a little stuffy in the room. I informed the desk clerk the next morning and they were quick to get it fixed. The room had a very nice large king size bed, however it was like we were sleeping on a cardboard box.

It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location was very convenient and we enjoyed having the balcony ocean view, this made the stay very nice.

Please find more comfortable chairs for the outside of each room, those metal chairs are uncomfortable and heat up quick.

Everything about this Best Western is excellent. Location, service, cleanliness, staff, breakfast. This is my favorite place to stay when I visit Galveston.
