Surrounded by lagoons and marine life, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa is located in Thilamaafushi, a natural island surrounded by blue lagoons. Bathtub and room were amazing. Staff were really nice and the breakfast is really high quality - try the croissants.

On the far North East border of Lhaviyani Atoll, sits the new exquisite little island of Fushifaru Maldives, only a 35-minute breath-taking seaplane flight away from Velana International Airport. Where to even start. We loved everything! The island, our amazing water villa, the staff, the snorkelling with turtles, sharks, swimming with manta rays, seeing loads of dolphins, the sandbank picnic and the most magical sunsets with delicious cocktails in hand. Absolutely everything. We loved the buffet for breakfast and dinner every day. The selection of food is great! We loved how small the resort is so its super personalised, the staff remembers you and it just feels so private. Exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. Often we only really saw people during breakfast and dinner. The other times it seemed like we had the island to ourselves. The guys at the dive centre were amazing, they really know what they are doing and they made our snorkelling tours magical.

Noen av rommene har sittehjørne. - The island is a good compromise in terms of size and max number of guests. Despite being at full capacity during our stay, we never had the impression of a crowded place. It was always very quiet. - The reef is a 2min swim from your room/the beach, which is amazing. We saw an incredible variety of fishes, as well as many blacktip reef sharks (very shy and not aggressive, so don't be scared about it) and turtles. - We stayed at one of the water villas looking West, which meant we had amazing sunset views. The room was spacious, clean and very well equipped. - Staff is wonderful: from those at the reception to the waiters at the restaurant and those taking care of cleaning the rooms. You always have the feeling of being well taken care of and in a very personal way. - Food was absolutely exceptional. The buffet allows for quick meals in case you want to dedicate more time to other activities. It consists of a starter section, a main course section with a variety of options including a live station, and finally a dessert section with sweets (some of the best I've ever had) and plenty of fresh fruits. The chef is German, and so are the majority of other guests. As such, you can expect to have a few of German/Swiss options everyday (pork, raclette, spätzle...). However, there is also plenty of fresh local fish to satisfy everyone. We had planned to try Aqua (the a la carte restaurant), but honestly were so satisfied with the buffet that we never did it. We ordered lobster once and enjoyed that a lot as well. - If you need a PCR test upon leaving, it can be easily arranged. Won't take you more than five minutes. Masks are mandatory at the restaurant whenever standing up and twice a day (morning and evening), you need to check your temperature at the entrance. The rules were strictly followed.

Facing the beachfront, Jawakara Islands Maldives offers 5-star accommodation in Lhaviyani Atoll and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. This stay was beyond expectations. Jawakara Resort is very beautiful place with breathtaking sceneries and landscapes. The staff is very kind, smiling all day long, all good english-speaking and very professional (They even switch off the headlights of the golf carts for a short time when you walk around at night, just to not blind you!). The Beach villa is very comfy, spacious and with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed the full board with very wide range and diversity of fresh and delicious food every day.

Offering a private beach area and water sports facilities, Kuredu Island Resort & Spa is a beachfront property situated in Kuredu in the Lhaviyani Atoll Region. It was a really nice three weeks. The entire Kuredu team went above and beyond to make our anniversary special and memorable, and we are grateful for that. Even though it was a team effort and everyone did a great job, I still need to name a few names. 1. Host, Irena was very kind and helpful 2. According to the location, our main location was "O-Restaurant". The Entire team, chefs and service on the floor were exceptional. Special thanks to Raja, the manager and all his team. The service was quick and almost inconspicuous, a great combination. 3. Speaking about the kitchen, I want to say that the pastries were just amazing. My deepest regards to the pastry chef. Have you hired Marco Pierre White? Three Michelin stars, easy. 4. "O" - Dunyie resort Spa. All masters are great, no exceptions. List can go on and on, but again - all was great. Thank you ALL.
