We stayed in the Kolod room at Kato Waidi and it was beautiful! The room, the property and the entire Nubian village is colourfully decorated. The room was a decent size, fabulously decorated and its domed roof made for the strangest acoustics (worth having a play with if you're staying with someone else!). The bathroom was small and the shower was almost directly over the toilet but this oddly was not an issue as it was not cramped at all and the water on the floor drains and dries up very quickly. Everything was very clean. We loved having meals in the outdoor dining area. The dogs and cats on the property were very entertaining and a highlight of the stay. The Egyptian food was nice too. The Nubian market is directly outside the entrance of the property and is a great way to spend a bit of time. There was also an ATM right outside the hotel entrance which was handy. The manager is so easy going and attentive. He ensured our room was available even though we arrived very early and even had breakfast made for us even though it was well past breakfast time! And also very kindly organised a private sunset boat ride from the property which was great. He also took care of the airport transfers. We paid for everything at the end of our stay which made things so much easier as we just added things onto our tab as we went along. The value for money here was fantastic. If we had more time we would have also taken a felucca boat ride with picnic.

Une maison d'hôtes récemment rénovée à AssouanL'Arafa Nubian Guest house propose une terrasse bien exposée, un parking sur place et des installations sportives. The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

The hotel was very nice and situated right beside the Nile river. Food was really good. The staff was very helpful especially Galal and Sarah. Both of them went out of the way to ensure that the stay was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Aswan and they also arrange trips to Abu Simbel.

Nous avons vraiment tout apprécié, belle découverte ! J ai été en contact par whatsapp avant mon séjour pour une arrivée tardive dans la nuit , tout était très bien organisé. On s y s y sent comme à la maison, la nourriture est incroyable, le petit déjeuner typique eyptien servis frais tous les matin, la vue sur le Nile à couper le souffle, nous vous recommandons de vous réveiller pour voir le lever du soleil ça en vaut le coup ! La qualité du massage était top un grand merci à Aml la masseuse ! Tous les personnel au petit soin merci encore pour tout nous avons le cœur remplis (un merci spécial pour Sara à la réception qui fut un soutien durant notre séjour, merci pour ta lumière)

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. We arrived early in the morning. The staff Reham Nasry and other lady staff (I am sorry to forget her name as I am not good at remembering the names) was very kind. They let us enter the room earlier as they have abailable room. So we can recover well after a long flight. Room was nice and you cna enjoy swimming if you want. The reataurant (again l forgot the name) offers nice food at reasonable price. If you just cross the road in front of the hotel, there is a big traditional market.
