This hotel is an absolute gem! You feel special there from the moment you drive up to the entrance and are greeted by name till the last second of checking out. My daughter stayed at this hotel for 2 nights 2 months before our visit. When we walked into the lobby the young gentleman Jerson at the front desk immediately recognized her and her son. Not only did he remember them visually - he remembered various details about them! A similar thing happened when we went to the restaurant - the staff there remembered her and her kid! By day 2 of staying there it seemed like every staff member there knew our name and room number, knew what kind of coffee we like for breakfast, and what kind of smoothie our kid prefers at lunch. When my grandson (who already stayed there two months prior) came to the kids club - all the girls there remembered his name and met him with open arms. He loved this kid's club so much - we couldn't get him out of there. It's been a month since we came back and he still keeps asking when we are going to go back there. Every woman in that kid's club is absolutely wonderful - I wish could mention all of them here. On top of that - the grounds, the rooms, the beach house, the restaurants, the views - everything is breathtaking! The service is top-notch. The beach is amazing! Jerson at the front desk, after learning that it was my 70th Birthday, arranged an upgrade for us for a reasonable price and we got one of the best rooms in the hotel! He made our stay super-special and memorable and we are immensely grateful! Monkeys visited us on the beach daily, and activities in the hotel abound - we went on a super-fun electric mountain bike tour around the peninsula. I couldn't imagine a better stay. The apartment features 3 bedrooms and a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave. A flat-screen TV is available. The wellness area of the property includes a hot tub. Really nice comfortable place with a short walk right to the beach...made for a great vacation experience. The pool was huge, great food right next door, made me feel like I didn't want to leave.

Bahia Pez Vela Resort is located on the private black-sand Ocotal Beach, and offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and watersports facilities. Each air-conditioned villa has wonderful garden and sea views. The people were extremely friendly and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Our villa was well equipped, very clean and perfect for a two person stay. The view was exceptional with our own patio and BBQ. We did find the on site restaurant had great food although a bit expensive. We had two different swimming pools to choose from as well as the beach. The town of Coco and some other beaches or restaurants are either a short drive by car, taxi, or golf cart (at a very reasonable price).

The resort’s centre is 10 minutes’ walk away. the location, landscaping, food, drinks- everything was amazing! also the staff were stellar! very very pretty.
