Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives resort for our honeymoon was really nice and we enjoyed every moment. Everything was really good. The staff is excellent but we have to give extra credit and a big thank you to our personal concierge Tanissa! She helped us with EVERYthing from start to check out. She was very kind and whenever we contaced her she was always available, no matter what time it was. She definitely made our stay so much better. Everything was perfect! We had an amazing experience. The facilities, the beach, and the services were exactly as promoted and shown on pictures. Food was amazing both on Vella (buffet) as well as the restaurants. Although we mostly enjoyed the teppanyaki restaurant, but also the others were amazing and exceeded our expectations. Big bonus for Velassaru was the absolute excellent service from the staff. We lost things a couple of times and every time we could find them on the reception, while they catered to our needs in no time. Last but not least, what really exceeded our expectations was the level of how clean everything was! Everything cleaned to the spot! Everything you see in the pictures regarding Maldives and Velassaru 100% the same in reality... SIMPLY AMAZING! Many thanks to the staff of Velassaru and rest assured you will be seeing us again.
