Burlington Bush Cottages by The Oyster Collection is set in Salem, 7 km from Viewpoint - Salem and 7 km from Salem Cricket Club. Some units feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. What a wonderful stay! Our cottage was cozy, beautifully decorated and very well kitted out for a weekend stay. The outdoor area with the hot tub and fireplace is a great addition! Chloe was very friendly and welcoming. Overall a very restful weekend escape into the quiet bush.

The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

The 5-star Pumba Private Game Reserve lodge has views from a private wooden deck overlooking Lake Kariega or the African bush. The staff are the most friendly and thoughtful. They even packed me food for the road when leaving as I have a long way to get to my destination. The ranger - Thomas is the most experienced, he’s excellent at explaining, finding the animals you requested to see etc. facility is very nicely renovated and worth staying!
