The staff are very helpful and friendly, assisting with everything from breakfast to village visits. All my questions were answered enthusiastically. It's a great place, and I'll definitely come back when i visit Yen Bai.

I mean, if you want to experience the warm-hearted people of North Vietnam, don‘t look any further. We arrived - after a horrible 7h "sleeper" bus - at half past two in the morning and were welcomed with open arms. Breakfast is amazing with a stunning view over the rice fields. The beds could be a bit softer, but you won’t complain after all day hiking around the stunning valley. Good food in the village is hard to find, so look for a pho place just when you enter the main part of town called "ẨM THỰC DÂN TỘC TÂY BẮC" (it‘s not on Google Maps). They only serve pho, but it‘s authentic and delicious. We could not have wished for more visiting this beautiful place. If you think about going north, skip Sapa, come to Mu Chang Chai and stay at Hoà Thào‘s!

Postcard views of Mu Cang Chai. Highly recommend this homestay for the location. The rooms are basic with clean bed(hard bed), and clean bathroom. The room has beautiful views of the valley and rice fields. The food was also very basic. Bring your own groceries or inform the host what you would like to eat so he can procure it. We enjoyed our stay. The host is very warm, polite, friendly and honest person. The location of the homestay is on a top of mountain, the way to the homestay is a very steep, high gradient. A Car or Scooter both will struggle to get there, unless you have a very powerful vehicle. Call the host ahead of climbing the hill, he will guide you for a less steeper way. Our two wheel drive-car-was stuck and we had to call the host.

Los dueños fueron muy amables y fue un gusto conocerlos. También había un gatito muy lindo. Nos dieron té, y como mi autobús salió tarde me permitieron quedarme ahí hasta que llegara.

Los trabajadores son súper amables, incluso me invitaron a cenar con ellos y me ayudaron con mi ruta y todas mis preguntas

A Lử Homestay está en Mù Cang Chải. Este hotel de 2 estrellas ofrece cocina compartida, recepción 24 horas y wifi gratis. Hay vistas a la montaña. Hemos estado genial en Home A Lú. Fueron súper amables con nosotros en todo momento. El día de la llegada el autobús nos dejó casi a las 3 de la mañana y nos estaban esperando para darnos la llave de la habitación. El último dia nos marchábamos muy tarde, y nos dejaron usar la habitación hasta el último minuto. Además hablaron con el conductor del autobús para que pasara a recogernos. Vamos, que son unos anfitriones de 10, nos han facilitado todo muchísimo y no podemos marcharnos más contentos. Además en el mismo home stay pudimos alquilar una moto para conocer los alrededores (por unos 200k dongs/día) Lo recomendamos sin duda.

Homestay Suối Khoáng Minh Hằng dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Yên Bái. The hosts were absolutely amazing. Their kids were great too. Luck has it we arrived just before the Snow Tea Festival and we wanted to extend our night. They were fully booked but were able to create more room for us so we could stay. The took us to the morning games. The accommodation was great too. The hot springs are the best after a long travel and the houses were nice and clean. We definitely recommend staying here. We had a amazing time and I can’t wait to get back. Thank you for the great time we had staying with you!
