When it was raining super hard they had a golf cart train that was covered that they drove around the grounds picking up people. Hampton Inn Howell hit both those marks. The beds were soft but firm. The breakfast was delicious with quite a variety to choose from. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The breakfast attendant (not the young girls assisting her) was very short with people. Maybe she was just having a bad day. It just seems like there's a certain temperment a person needs to have for that job that doesn't take the request of guests personally.

Our whole experience at the hotel was wonderful. We stayed because it offered a pool and hot tub. Our family used them a few times every day that we stayed. The breakfast was excellent and we used the common area of the hotel a few times during our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. My grandson left his stuffed animal in the room at check out. The front desk called right away when housekeeping found it. Luckily we hadn't left town and we went back to pick it up. We will be returning to this hotel next time we are in town. I highly recommend this hotel, it exceeded all our expectations.
