Located just 100 metres from the entrance to Postojna Cave and completely refurbished in 2016, Postojna Cave Hotel Jama features an on-site restaurant and bar. Firstly, I must mention Hotel's staff. From the beautiful, pleasant and professional ladies on the reception and ladies in the restaurant to the room maids and even gardeners, they all deserve all compliments and respect for their professionalism and dedication to make customers welcomed, relaxed and looked after. Hotel Jama with its facilities gives you everything you need. Few steps from the Cave and number of restaurants has exceptional position. The rooms are of really decent size. My advise: take the room with a balcony. It gives you a lot for a few more bucks. Breakfast: there was even more than you can ask for.

Completely renovated in 2018, ECO Hotel Center is only a 10-minute walk from the world-famous Postojna Cave. Location was great. there is supermarket near the hotel. love the room and morning tastes great

Very spacious apartment which is well maintained and designed. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. We get discount to the tix for the cave and castle.

Hotel Rakov Skocjan in Cerknica boasts a garden and a shared lounge. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi. Some rooms come with a balcony. At the hotel, the rooms come with a desk. The were so lovely, I was made to feel so welcome. The location in the middle of a wooded valley was so magical, with lots of interesting places to explore.

EkoTurizem Hudičevec is set on the south slopes of Mount Nanos, within 1 km from Razdrto Motorway Exit and 2 km from the village centre. This was a gem right off the highway. Perfect for families. Traveling in the off season it was a bit colder out so less activities, but there are horse rides offered and there is a full playground for children. The apartments are spacious with full kitchens. The rooms are large as well. The entire apartment was very neat and clean. We had a full size refrigerator in our apartment. It's a family owned farm and it was just wonderful talking to the family members and reading about their history on the wall at the reception desk. The menu is sourced from the farm. Arrangements should be made with the front desk for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was delightful and filling, dinner was AMAZING. Also be sure to try the honey which is produced on site from their own bees (which are in pretty painted beehives about 100 meters down the horse trail). We really loved this stay.

The owner was very helpful, she has baked a pie for us and it was on the table when we have arrived. There was free mineral water in the fridge. A wide range of tea bags and coffee have been also available - for free.
