Location was excellent: nice walk down the the harbour (Danube), or up to the shops and banks in the other direction. A kids playground immediately on the river side of the hotel, and a row of field pieces behind the castellations of the hotel terrace, in case the ankle-biters get too noisy. Food was good. The staff and I were able to make do with their limited English and my very limited Russian & Ukrainian.

The location is very nice, you are surrounded by the water, can watch an amazing sunset and take boat trips to explore the delta. You have a nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna, so even if you stay at the location you won’t get bored. The food served at the restaurant was nice too, but take into consideration that the breakfast, lunch and dinner are only served at scheduled times (better to check with the reception beforehand).

They took us to Sfantu Gheorghe through a network of charming lakes and channels and made it the very highlight of our Romanian trip. Very good location of the hotel - just by the Danube river. All tours to Danube delta starts very close to hotel. Parking place by the hotel, but you have to pay 20 lei per day. Good breakfast with many choices. Nice restaurant at first floor. The hotel remember old times and despite it is a bit renovated, you can feel spirit of old socialism times. We like it and liked to imagine how big bosses of the communist party stayed here...
