Located in the Tongariro National Park, The Park Hotel Ruapehu offers affordable accommodation in a stunning alpine setting. Guests are provided with free parking and 500MB of free WiFi. The room was heated on arrival. Late check in, but greeted by friendly staff.

Located on the shore, the Lakefront Lodge Taupo offers spectacular lake views and free WiFi access. It has an outdoor swimming pool. Great location across from the lake. The safari theme was cool especially the blanket on the bed.
