Hotel Villa Trompenberg is a fully self-service hotel situated in a park-like area in Hilversum, 1.5 km from the centre. Villa Trompenberg offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. We stayed in the superior suite and it is fantastic. Particularly the conservatory and garden which are attached to the room are very pleasant hangouts, especially in summer, when we were there, but I guess it can be just as wonderful year round.

Hotel Kastanjehof is a small cosy hotel, situated in the middle of the beautiful forest of Lage Vuursche. The area surrounding Kastanjehof is perfect for walking, cycling and riding. We were able to hike and seen Falls colors. Oh my goodness it was so pretty. Great location. Restaurants too.

Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Nautisch Kwartier boast an unique lake-side location, at the tip of Huizen’s old harbour. It offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV, luxury beds and private bathrooms. Everything was perfect. We booked one night and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the parking was free and there are many restaurants where you can eat. The place is idillic.

Amrâth Hotel Media Park Hilversum has free Wi-Fi connection and free on-site parking. Furthermore this hotel is located in the centre of Hilversum. Location is great and close to station and city center, seems like floor was heated as well which is nice.

Featuring recently renovated rooms, Amrâth Hotel Lapershoek Arenapark is located in a park-like setting on the outskirts of Hilversum, in the heart of The Netherlands. It seems to be an old building, but beautifully renovated and with modern rooms. It's very close to a train station (Hilversum Sportpark), though not the central station (which` is 20 mins walk, well to do without a suitcase). I particularly liked the late checkout option for 25 euro extra. That was not a problem at all, and it's nice to have a shower before a long flight. From Hilversum Central station many trains go to Schiphol Airport. Near Hilversum Central, there are some nice places to go out, and if you like to bring cheese home, then go to the market on Wednesdays or Saturdays. There is an excellent choice coming straight from the farms.
