I read a lot of reviews when selecting hotels on booking.com but rarely do I provide a review myself. This is absolutely the place to stay in Yangon. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well appointed hotels I’ve ever stayed in - it rivals beautiful 5 star hotels in London or New York but at a fraction of the price. But the real stand out is the staff - they made us feel safe, secure, always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Myanmar has significant challenges with civil unrest and yet this hotel - amid great difficulty - stays open and provides an exceptional, safe and friendly experience. So many other large international hotels have shut - it’s a testament to the staff and owners this hotel remains open and running in such a professional way. Breakfast was delicious and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - all three I can recommend. I also tried the spa and had a Burma massage and it was great. We loved Yangon and we loved this hotel!

We really enjoyed thea atmospehere of the entire hotel, the staff was very kind and helpfull. The rooms were very clean with all the ameniteis you need. Wifi was very good, I had the change to work remotly and do some videocalls. They have a very good restaurant on the ground floor with a cute garden for evening drinks.

Facility is clean, comfortable and breakfast superb. Hotel decor is chic and the building itself historical. The view from the window is also magnificent. The room may be a bit compact but not a problem for a solo traveller. However, there is a nice working table by the window, good Internet, TV network, strong WiFi and comfortable bedding. Most of all, the hotel manager was very attentive to guest's request, showed flexibility and offered helpful support. A good value for money. Definitely a return.

Superb location with nice shopping mall adjacent to the hotel made it so convenient and comfortable to drop by for informal meetings and meals. Dining at the Market was also enchanting with its delicacies and their staff were well attentive and professional in handling service. I enjoyed the privacy at high class. Room amenities were sufficient. Lighting and electrical sockets were sufficient. Overall 10/10.
