In today's world of homogenized attractions, finding a homestay that offers a taste of real life is priceless. I highly recommend staying with Ibrahim for more than a day. There are many trails to explore, like SFIHA TELJ, or you can take a scenic walk to the next village. Ibrahim can guide you or provide information and advice about treks in the area. The charming house boasts a magnificent view from the terrace. The food, homemade and some of the best we tried in Morocco, included freshly baked bread, cookies, and tajines. Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Dar Wadada offers pet-friendly accommodation in Chefchaouene, 10 minutes' drive the city centre. Some units have views of the mountain or garden. The location and the house itself are absolutely peaceful and beautiful! Nestled in full natur and up on the mountain. It‘s an easy 25min walk down into Chaouen and it is super easy to organize a taxi for the way back up with Rachid. The host Rachid is the most warm and lovely person, and made us feel right at home and cooked us a lovely spontaneous birthday dinner! He is incredibly helpful and nothing is a hassle with him! We had a wonderful stay!

Food was excellent and lots of it! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, peaceful with a great view! The walk to town is about 20 minutes down and 35 minutes back up. Its not bad at all, but hot in the afternoon and if you are out of shape...frequent pauses. That distance did put you in a perfect peaceful spot with a spectacular view of the city and the mountains around. We came here after the confusion and challenge of Fez and this was a much appreciated retreat! Highly recommend!

Really nice appartment with balcony decorated in traditional style, stuff was very friendly. Exceptional view on the town and the mountains. Nice garden. Guarded parking nearby.
