It offers an outdoor pool and restaurant. this is my second time here. i preferred the tent over the cottage. the staff was lovely, food is good and the proximity to the park perfect. my only complaints are no hot water, especially coming from a safari when you’re covered in dust and i’d have liked our driver to eat with us.

The food is satisfying and well prepared by chef Themba, with soft drinks available for a nominal fee at the site The location with the view of Mount Kilimanjaro and 20 minutes from Amboseli game park is wonderful! Our kids went on nature’s walks with Brian, helped cook with Johnathan and loved playing basket ball with the kids that were visiting the camp site. We enjoyed being taken by Jonathan to see some of the town activities (market day and the cattle auctions) giving us a taste of the local Masai Kenyan community life😊. We came home with beautiful Masai blankets😁 It was a holiday we will remember for many many years!! Thanks for making our 14 day quarantine in Kenya from South Africa travelling to the UAE one to remember😊💖 PS we hired a car to travel to Teen Ranch and then to go to the park. We had a 4x2 and struggled on some of the park roads but managed...A 4x4 would have been better but pick up and safari drives can be arranged by the staff at Teen Ranch as well for an additional fee.

Located in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodations with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. The staff are fantastic. Super helpful, friendly and always up for a chat and teaching us Swahili. The location of the camp being right by the gate of Amboseli Park was brilliant and we loved that the tents were separated far enough from each other that you felt like you were in your own private lodge. The firepit with a view of Mnt Kili and the animals walking past is breathtaking. We could sit by the fire, having our sundowners and enjoy the sounds of the night for hours. We liked that there is only WiFi in the communal area and not in the rooms/pool/garden area as this allows you to properly switch off and take in the scenery. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.
