Located in Barga, Il Ciocco Hotel features barbecue facilities, terrace and free WiFi throughout the property. This small hotel on the top of the mountain is awesome. Older, yet we'll maintained, clean, and incredible views. Breakfast is at the excellent restaurant ten minutes walk uphill. Other delicious meals are also available at the restaurant, and by US standards are affordable. There are roads and paths for trekking, and sports courts if you are interested. There is no pool. Because I was here in off season, there were fewer tourists, so they upgraded my room to one with a balcony and view!!

Dating back to 1924, the impressive Villa Moorings is 700 metres from Barga Cathedral. It features a 3000 m² garden with swimming pool, sun terrace and gazebos. The staff were excellent, very warm, helpful and welcoming. The room we had was large, spacious, bright and airy with lovely views over the hills. Location was excellent with everything in easy walking distance.

Hotel The Marquee is surrounded by a large furnished garden with swimming pool and sun loungers. It is located a 5-minute drive from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, in the Tuscan countryside. The owner is very kind, pleasant attentive and helpful gentlemen. Good breakfast and service overall.
