Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. The room temperature was quite high surprisingly. The floor heating was strong and stable when you consider the weather condition. The bed was quite comfy with a lot of pillows. The rooms were stylish. Breakfast and dinner hall was so cute and meals were so delicious, especially the dinner.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Absolutely loved this gem of a boutique hotel. Was our favorite actually. Cosy, quaint, great breakfast. Staff were very helpful, especially Chris.

It was great location and amazing space-comfortable, cozy and clean. I loved everything about it and would recommend for sure. Located in the country side, Hotel Stundarfridur offers accommodation 12 km from Stykkishólmur. This property provides guests with a terrace. There is also a restaurant and a shared lounge. Great hotel! Beautifully located in the hills and cozy interior. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the bar/restaurant has a great view. The room itself was super clean, would definitely recommend!

The location is stunning, right on the start of the Arnarstapi coastal walk. The room is beautiful with a great shower and views of the mountain (and if you're lucky, a prime seat to the northern lights).
