The location was AMAZING, it really was! The cabin was warm and cozy, very comfortable, with a nice functioning, and well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. The interior design of the cabin was very welcoming. GREAT location to see the northern lights!

This property is near Akranes Harbour and 1.3 km from Akranes Museum Centre. It offers a pretty, hedged garden and a large, furnished terrace. Wi-Fi and parking are free. We had a great stay. Room was quiet big with comfortable beds. Shared kitchen was very well equipped. And host even left some breakfast which was a lovely surprise!

We had an amazing stay and felt really at home. It is a very welcoming place and the big windows allow a beautiful view. And the kitchen is provided with everything you need.The silence, the snow, the backdrop of the mountain was absolutely magical.

Set in Akranes in the West Iceland region, Bard Cottage features a terrace and garden views. This property offers access to a patio, and free WiFi. Perfect place to relax after day of exploring. Beautiful, comfortable and cosy house, great attention to details. Nice sorroundings, house is in a small forrest with little lake and mountain views behind. We especially loved hot tube on the deck. Wonderful and caring hosts are always ready to help and provide advice. We highly recomnend Bard cottage to other travellers.
