Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. really beautiful view, comfortable stay and nice attention to detail. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Iceland ( croissants and home made jam were delicious)

Located by the harbour in Höfn, this property is surrounded by Hornafjördur’s outdoor activity possibilities. Guests can enjoy mountaineering, snowmobile glacier trips and ice climbing in the area. We had an incredible stay at the hotel in Höfn. Located in a fantastic area with breathtaking views, the hotel provided top-notch facilities and amenities. Our room boasted an amazing view, and it was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and nice. The convenient and ample parking lot was a bonus. While the room could have been a bit cleaner, particularly the bathroom, the overall experience was superb. The hotel provided everything we needed, from shampoo and conditioner to towels and tea/coffee, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Boasting panoramic views towards the famous Vatnajökull glacier and the surrounding mountains, Árnanes Country Hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The harbour town of Höfn is only 6 km away. Great location, very well cared for hotel with kind, friendly owners and they served a lovely breakfast.

Shower is hot and strong. Excellent free breakfast. Free coffee all day. Easy check in. Just drop the key in a basket at the front desk when check out. Big parking lot in the front and at the back. Came back after 10 years it didn't disappoint us.

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Room is well equipped

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Seriously surprised how is this only a 2 star hotel. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was great!

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. Staff was very helpful. They went above and beyond. Had a great stay!

Ubytovanie Hotel Studlagil sa nachádza v destinácii Skjöldólfsstaðir a hostia tu majú k dispozícii bar a reštauráciu. Na mieste je k dispozícii súkromné parkovisko. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The outside appearance was deceiving, from the inside it was such a cute, warm and welcoming facility. The rooms were modern and bright, and it was so close to the canyon. We had a three-bedroom room, and there was enough space for all of us to move around. One of our lights wasn't working and the staff immediately replaced it for us. There was a restaurant on site where you could have dinner and breakfast.
