In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan Hotel offers elegant accommodation and high-quality dining. This place is a little slice of heaven and I’d honestly stay here again. So quiet and private, and a great little base to do some exploring of the area. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was beautiful food. The waitresses are so accommodating and sweet. We felt so at home and welcomed - nothing like old fashioned hospitality. The breakfast is amazing - so much to choose from and they cook it for you personally after you order. The room was clean and had a great bed, with a view over the water. I’d love to visit again - everyone was so kind and friendly. A beautiful part of the world and the views of Loch Awe were stunning.

Spectacular views over the West Coast was the perfect place to rest on our cycle trip. The room was luxurious and extremely comfortable. Sally and Roger were very warm and welcoming. They had excellent local knowledge and would well recommend eating with them in the evening. The fish pie is delicious!

Although we arrived after 10 pm, which was long after check-in time ended, the staff graciously accommodated our late arrival and made sure we knew exactly where the key was, etc. they could not have been nicer. And breakfast was magnificent, with many options and basically however much, and whatever variety, you wanted.
