We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

In the heart of the Périgord region, Hotel La Métairie - Les Collectionneurs is a 4-star boutique hotel dating from the 19th-century and surrounded by fields. The hotel exceeded all expectations. It was beautifully situated in the middle of nature, fully equipped with all possible facilities and with an excellent restaurant. The staff were discreet and efficient but very friendly. There was a restrained yet intimate atmosphere.

The Europ’hotel is a 5-minute walk from Bergerac historic city centre. It features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Both of the Ladies who welcomed us were extremely nice. They explained all amenities and what should be seen. In Bergerac. The room was renovated, nicely decorated, and very comfortable, especially the shower. Thank you for this wonderful stay in Bergerac.

He carried all my bags for me to my room and brought me a beer as soon as I was settled. He also allowed me to park my motorbike right next to the front door (next to his scooter) so I knew it would be safe. I felt like royalty! As a lone female traveller I felt safe and secure here as well as very welcome. The place is in perfect quiet position and easy to walk into the pretty medieval centre. The bar and restaurant is really clean and cosy as was my room. Big thank you to Mika for his excellent service with a smile.

Relais des Vigiers is set in a 16th-century estate surrounded by countryside at the Dordogne-Gironde’s border. Grand Hôtel is located in the centre of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, just 100 metres from the Dordogne River and 20 km from Bergerac. The cleanliness of the room was first rate; the breakfast and courtyard were super; and our hostess was so lovely.
