Retiro del Teatro Almagro is situated in Almagro, 30 km from Puerta de Toledo and 27 km from El Quijote Museum. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. A little gem in the heart of Almagro. Situated within walking distance of everything the town has to offer. On arrival we were greeted warmly by Elena and given the choice of two rooms. Each equally unusual and superbly decorated and fitted with a small kitchenette. The building itself has been designed and decorated in true Castille la Mancha style with reminders everywhere of Cervantes' hero. Our bed was enormous and extremely comfortable, although pillow a little hard for my taste. Everywhere was not just spotless but sanitised throughout. In the evening the entrance hall was warm and welcoming with soft lighting and ambient perfume. The day time temperature was 42 each day but the air conditioning was just perfect and easy to control. There was just one downside and absolutely not the owner's fault but the room opened up onto a shared courtyard and other guests decided it was a good place to dry their washing so we had a great view of their underwear draped over chairs and the ironing board. Such a shame. The small kitchenette is perfect for storing cold drinks, making a coffee or preparing snacks and is well equipped. Quirkily it sits inside what looks like a small armoire, subtly hidden from the room. Plenty of power sockets and a state of the art hairdryer are also included. If you want somewhere original and comfortable, this is THE place to stay. As a final note there is plenty of street parking around the building.

Situated in the heart of Lagunas de Ruidera Nature Reserve, in the small town of Ruidera, Hostal La Noria offers rooms with air conditioning, heating, and free WiFi. It was a very nice experience. The host was very hospitable and willing to help. Hostal is near to the lakes in the walking distance. I recommend this place.

The Hotel Rural Casa Grande Almagro is located in the famous La Mancha province. It has a swimming pool, and all rooms have Wi-Fi and hydro-massage showers. A really beautiful well appointed hotel. Everything was to a high standard and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we had it in a beautiful room. The room was very nice, comfort bed and good shower. All in all a great hotel and a nice stay.

Lovely room, comfy, great location.I loved that this is a new hotel, new furniture and great style.

Set within 27 km of El Quijote Museum and 28 km of Santa María del Prado Cathedral, Hotel QB Almagro Centro features rooms in Almagro. With free WiFi, this 2-star hotel offers a tour desk. An immaculate and beautiful new apartment in a stunning old palacio (looks as good as in the pictures) The apartment can be accessed via inside of the hotel or by a front door from the main street which was handy. Only a minute or two walk from the main square. Comfy beds and sofa bed, smart t.v. A perfect location for a visit to beautiful almagro. Wouldnt stay anywhere else!

Hotel Rural La Casa de los Tres Cielos is situated in Campo de Criptana and features a terrace. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property. Although the hostess spoke no English and we spoke very little Spanish we had the warmest of welcomes. The hotel was nicely furnished and our room was clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious. The WiFi worked well and the shower and (smallish) pool were a great way to cool off after a long, hot drive. The view from the terrace over the town to the surrounding countryside was very pleasing and although we could not see them from the hotel, the 10 windmills for which the town is famed were close by. Our GPS navigated us through the maze of narrow streets to the hotel although it did suggest making some impossible turns so we had to improvise. We were able to park in the street close to the hotel. Breakfast was typical Spanish with toast and churos as well as coffee and cake. A good nights stay and very good value.

Hotel Boutique Arte y Descanso is set in Almagro, 27 km from El Quijote Museum and 28 km from Santa María del Prado Cathedral. Beautiful, artsy, hotel. Good location. Lovely breakfast.

Hospedería Santa Elena has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in San Carlos del Valle. The staff made us feel welcome. The location was off the beaten track and was very interesting . The most surprising, and pleasant thing about the hotel was the restaurant. It offered a great dining experience with a refined menu and good wine list. The bar/canteen with an outside terrace at the front of the building was a great addition and perfect for a drink and a snack. The rooms were small but comfortable and well furnished. We could easily find a parking space in the streets behind the hotel.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location! Great staff, wonderful host & Chef and an amazing sommelier! We loved their local wines and food was delicious! Cute and modern decor.

Set in a historical building, this Medieval-themed hotel is located in Calzada de Calatrava, 10 minutes’ drive from Calatrava’s Castle and 24 km from Almagro. The hotel is marvellous. A medieval fairy tale. We stayed overnight with children. They were very enthusiastic of photo shooting in medieval dresses. The owner is very friendly and has enormous knowledge of the history of the Region and tourist routes. I would highly recommend this hotel
