Set in Providencia, 42 km from Manuel Antonio, Hotel Savegre features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. The road in and out is not for the weary. We didn't know it was an amazing place for Birding. The entire place is beautiful and worth the trip. The hiking is wonderful. 700 year old trees! The room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay longer next time to take advantage of the area.

Quiet, safe, and beautiful location, lovely building, beautifully decorated. This hotel was designed to emulate a cozy home, and you definitely feel at home when you stay there. Adorable cats and a dog create a warm home-like atmosphere. A pool with a wonderful view of the city and sunset. Delicious breakfasts. All of the staff were so so lovely and helpful, nothing was a bother to them. We've decided to stay in this hotel every time we come to San Jose. Thank you so much for welcoming us!

Good location to relax & recharge after long flight. Comfortable bed & pillows & nice sheets. Hot water shower. Good food & choice for breakfast. Food also available till 8pm. Club sandwich was excellent Staff were all friendly & helpful. Nice pool area with sunbeds, didn't use the pool but water was clean,at time of our stay, just a bit cold unless full sunshine to warm up after swimming. Would recommend

Amazing property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

The room was very clean, with a very nice view. We could make ourselves a cup of coffee in the room, because they had everything already prepared. Bathroom was big and also very clean. Service at the restaurant, were we had our breakfast, was very nice and friendly, so we decided also to have our dinner there. It was also very good. Don't forget to visit their garden! It exceeded our expectations, it is beautiful. P.S: Some people complained about the coldness in the rooms, but they offered us a lot of blankets, so its impossible to freeze during the night. It was cozy and we would come back any time.
