Rinconcito Lodge features a garden and complimentary WiFi in public areas. The rooms offer a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. They have wooden furniture. We started with a room that was to close to the restaurant. Then you hear the kitchen extractor and the smell on the balcony. The room was further oké. But we asked if we good have another room, which was fixed directly. This room was even bigger and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The restaurant has fair pricing and the food is really good. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super nice. Just book you will have a great time here.

Located 54 km from Playa Hermosa, Vida Aventura Nature Park offers accommodation 16 km Rincon de La Vieja National Park. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking available on site. Good location for hiking in Rincon de la Vieja National Park. We only stayed for two nights but enjoyed it a lot, especially the small pool area. The host was really friendly and served delicious dinner.

Santa Maria Volcano Lodge offers pet-friendly accommodation. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. You stay in a wooden rustic cabin with huge windows in the middle of the jungle. You may see tucans from your bed.

Located in the beautiful country side near Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Casa Rural Aroma de Campo is a quaint B&B with on-site natural springs and a kitchen serving delicious Costa Rican cuisine.... Probably best stay in my life. Very charming, homely location with pool, hammocks, and view of the wildlife Good breakfast and great dinner cooked by Maureen. Hosts very helpful by sharing information and booking activities. Loved the many stories and wildlife knowledge of Charlie. A must stay in the region.

Surrounded by extensive gardens and featuring an on-site lake, wooden bungalows and eco-tourism activities, Buena Vista del Rincón is located in Rincon de la Vieja. Free Wi-Fi is available. Everything! Especially the staff! We loved the Hot Springs to much we spent two days there. The zip line, waterslide and horseback riding was fabulous. The food amazing. The relaxation superb! We totally enjoyed our stay, especially the sunsets!

The host Francisco is so friendly and great to chat with (in spanish). Our rental car could not make it up the road as its quite steep and has loose gravel (we had a 2WD geely gx3) but Francisco very kindly offered to leave our car in the parking lot of a nearby gated hotel and he drove us up and back down the next morning. The breakfast was traditional costa rican and very well made. The property was pretty and we saw keel billed toucans in the morning. The beds were comfortable, there was a small kitchen we could use and everything was very clean. Would recommend!
