Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. Kind and friendly staff willing to help with all requests. Attentive service. Absolutely gorgeous view of the river and right next to the walking trail. Even in winter, the view is stunning. Our room was warm, clean and cozy! We enjoyed the restaurant. It has plenty of vegetarian options that we enjoyed. Try the rice cakes with peanut, dried tofu and vegetables and the eggplant. They are not to be missed.

Away from tourist crowds but still good n a walking distance. Green area, great teahouse ambience, diverse choices for breakfast - at the top floor with a view. Rooms woth a special window tea drinking area. Super friendly english speaking staff. Thanks for a small gift.

Melody (at the reception) was really helpful and compensated for our inability to speak to mandarin. She organised all the tours for us and was very patient with us. We were upgraded for free and there is free tap water and breakfast included. The hotel is set in a really nice location which is tranquil, though you will need a bike or DiDi to get into town.
