Fizeram um upgrade de room sem qualquer custo. Alugamos umas bicicletas por um dia e deixaram-nos usar vários dias sem qualquer custo. As funcionaram são excepcionais. Além de falarem inglês (pouco frequente noutros locais) eram muito atentas as nossas necessidades - reservas de espetáculos, protetor para mosquitos, etc. sentimo-nos mesmo muito acarinhados aqui, recomendo 100%. Após estar a viajar pela China durante um mês, este foi sem dúvida o local e o hotel que mais gostei.

Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. Absolutely incredible views from the front garden (and front facing rooms). Beautiful view of the river and the staff were so attentive when I was out there in the day (putting the fan and parasol on) or in the evening if there was a bit of rain (putting the umbrella up). The food was the best I have had in China so far- and they did brilliant vegetarian food. I am learning Chinese and the staff at the hotel helped me to practise. Very close by (10 mins walk) from one of the rafting locations. The room was nice and comfortable- great AC.

The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.
