We stayed here for four nights for our honeymoon and were so overwhelmed with the beauty of the property and the surrounding landscape, the friendliness and care of the staff, and the old world charm of this historic hotel. From the moment we arrived at the Waldhaus, we were greeted warmly by the staff and owners of the property. Our room was so well appointed and had the most amazing view of Lake Sils. The turn down service every evening made returning to our room after dinner like returning home. The food is delicious (you have to do the half board option!!) and the nightly menus kept things interesting and fresh. The spa was beyond anything we had ever enjoyed before, with a steam room, sauna, soaking pools, and relaxation rooms. We went on a hike through the Fex Valley and were in awe of everything we saw. It was like being transported back in time with all the modern conveniences and amenities included. Though I'm happy to be home, I will always miss the Waldhaus.

Set 14 km from Train Station St. Moritz, Hotel Sonne Fex Alpine Hideaway offers 3-star accommodation in Sils Maria and features a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Location! Wonderful service and food.

Surrounded by mountains, Hotel Fex is set in the car-free Val Fex, at 2000 metres above sea level and 8 km from the Furtschellas-Corvatsch cable car. The main selling point is the location: at the end of the Fex valley. The rooms are not that big, bathrooms are basic (but more than adequate!). The other selling point is that the food and service is very good, really a cut above the rest when compared to simmilar hotels. Can only recommend it.

Furnished in a traditional Engadine style, Hotel Privata is located in Sils Maria at the entrance to the Fex Valley. The best hotel in Sils Maria - price and quality. Excellent location, restaurant, rooms are beautiful.

The family-run Hotel Cervo enjoys a quiet location in Sils-Maria, a 5-minute walk from the Furtschellas Cable Car. It offers Alpine-style rooms, free WiFi and a spa area with sauna. Very good breakfast as well as dinner in the restaurant a'la carte. Very calm neighborhood. Reception openly told us that we can park in front of hotel for 12.- or go to underground parking (100m) which is in November for free.

Built in a modern Engadine style, this 3-star hotel in the centre of Sils-Maria is 750 metres from the Furtschellas Cable Car. The traditionally furnished restaurant serves Swiss and Italian cuisine. Excellent menu, preparation, and presentation of the evening meals all three days. Also, an extensive wine list. Overall, the restaurant for the evening meals was very good and a good value. Breakfast was suitable but not above average. I seem to recall an extra charge for an egg cooked to order.

The family-run Hotel Seraina is located at 1,800 metres above sea level in the centre of Sils-Maria. It features a spa area, an underground car park, and a children's playroom. All aspects of the stay were excellent: management, staff, cleanliness, location, and guest attention.
