The Hotel Arnica Scuol enjoys a quiet location with panoramic views of the Inn Valley and the Engadine mountains from floor-to-ceiling windows. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. We were in a Superior Room in the newest part of the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and a very calming place. We were on a halfboard package and the 3-course meals were simply amazing. Delicious flavour combinations using fresh produce. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and fluent in many languages including English. The large spa area was excellent. My favourite parts were the relaxation area with suspended swinging chairs and delicious herbal teas. Lovely mountain and forest views from the floor to ceiling windows in the sauna and the bedroom.

Situated in the typical Engadin village of Ardez with its historic Sgraffito-adorned houses, the Schorta's Alvetern offers Grisons cuisine, free internet access and a ski shuttle. The staff and people were outstanding, going over and beyond to make arrangements for late arrival and departure and for taxis. I would recommend them very, very strongly.

Located 3 km from Scuol, Villa Post Hotel is surrounded by a large spa park and offers you Engadine-style rooms with views, free internet and free parking. Beautiful and comfortable hotel, close to a bus station. I loved the furnishing, the room smelled like pine wood which was really relaxing. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was perfect (I really appreciated the plant based milk variation).

It was cozy and clean, with great attention to both detail and quality. We also appreciated the welcome gift (a book), the libraries and book-filled dining room - and, of course, the Giacometti downstairs and photographs throughout the pension. The restaurant was also excellent in terms of the dishes and personable service.

Set in a 300-year-old typical Engadine house, Hotel Chasa Sofia is located in the centre of Scuol and offers free WiFi. The location was great - pretty much in the centre of the town, with a 3-4 min walk to the old town and to the thermal baths. The owner was extremely professional and really took care of her guests and the rooms, there was great attention to detail. The room was exceptionally clean, there was really nothing to fault. The breakfast was also very good, all fresh produce and freshly cooked eggs on arrival in the breakfast room.

Breakfast was great with lots of variety. I will say that you had to get there early to get the best bread selection. The breads/croissants did not appear to be replenished midway through the fast hours. Dining room amazing. Food great. Staff personable. Loved eating outside and the service was good out there. Our room was beautiful and comfortable.

Amidst the beautiful mountain landscape of the Engadine, the Schlosshotel Chastè enjoys an exceptionally quiet location in the holiday village of Tarasp, 7 km from Scuol. Our stay was exceptional, truly exceeded our expectations! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was absolutely lovely! And the food was incredible.

Individually decorated rooms with mountain views are provided at Hotel Bellavista Ftan in Ftan. The hotel offers simply furnished rooms. The restaurant is closed for the entire summer. Very helpful and kind staff, and delicious restaurant!
