Dating from 1654, this traditional hotel in the historic centre of Schaffhausen is just a 5-minute walk away from the train station. Hotel2B features the restaurant US-Mex and has a bar. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with clean bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The location is right in the old city center, next to a beautiful old church. Parking is right in front, and the hotel provides free parking vouchers until the following day. The staff was friendly and had no problem speaking English with us.

It was well appointed and spotlessly clean throughout. The quality far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very helpful, both at reception and in the dining room. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the local railway station so is ideal for anyone on a rail holiday.

The best place to see the Rhine Falls is the Laufen Castle side.

Centrally located in Stein am Rhein, Hotel Rheinfels is housed in a historic building from the 14th century and features a restaurant with a large terrace facing the river. vintage boutique hotel with a personal touch all over it.. staff always smiling and genuinely serving.. clearly a wonderfully family run business.. perfect location with a great River view... room was quite large.. retro feel from such as old style phone, all well functioning and very special.. overall the hotel was a great representation of the very special Stein em Rein town.. definitely exceeded our expectation..

Located in a quiet area in Schaffhausen, 600 metres from the Rhine River and 3 km from the Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe, Hotel Park Villa features an à la carte restaurant serving... Hotel Park Villa was a wonderful hotel. Our family found the two twin beds and one queen bed perfect. The room was beautiful, with a lot of character. The bathroom was amazing. We especially enjoyed the large bath tub. Breakfast was delicious, and our server Maria was extremely kind.

Set in Ramsen bei Stein am Rhein, this charming hotel is 19 km away from the Rhine Falls. The restaurant serves typical Swiss cuisine and free Wi-Fi and free parking is available on site. Large, comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet with many homemade bread and jams, fresh eggs, good coffee. Good bicycle storage, excellent dedicated bike path between Stein am Rhein and Ramsen. Lovely, relaxing village.
