The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with clean bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The location is right in the old city center, next to a beautiful old church. Parking is right in front, and the hotel provides free parking vouchers until the following day. The staff was friendly and had no problem speaking English with us.

Situated in the centre of Schaffhausen, Hotel Kronenhof offers views of the Munot Fortress, free Wi-Fi, and 2 restaurants. This hotel was a real joy. It was well appointed and spotlessly clean throughout. The quality far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very helpful, both at reception and in the dining room. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the local railway station so is ideal for anyone on a rail holiday.

Hotellet ligger i en historisk 1300-talsbyggnad och har en restaurang med en stor terrass som vetter mot floden. vintage boutique hotel with a personal touch all over it.. staff always smiling and genuinely serving.. clearly a wonderfully family run business.. perfect location with a great River view... room was quite large.. retro feel from such as old style phone, all well functioning and very special.. overall the hotel was a great representation of the very special Stein em Rein town.. definitely exceeded our expectation..

Situated amid a park-style garden, this family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the Schaffhausen Train Station and the city centre. Spacious Room and Bathroom. Great Filling Royal Stomach Friendly Dinner 🥘 and Good Breakfast…. all this was too Good for the Price. Nice unique Garden. They gave us a cute little Table Fan on request.

Our family found the two twin beds and one queen bed perfect. The room was beautiful, with a lot of character. The bathroom was amazing. We especially enjoyed the large bath tub. Breakfast was delicious, and our server Maria was extremely kind.

Large, comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet with many homemade bread and jams, fresh eggs, good coffee. Good bicycle storage, excellent dedicated bike path between Stein am Rhein and Ramsen. Lovely, relaxing village.
