Situated in Murten, 15 km from Forum Fribourg, Zimmerei features a garden and views of the city. Private room on the top floor, modern and clean, with a private bath and nice decor. Coffee machine and electric kettle provided in the room along with pods, teabags, and cream (always a plus when you're backpacking and cannot carry all you want). Blinds allowed for a great night sleep, so did the comfy bed and the air conditioner. There was even a TV which allowed us to catch an international track and field meet, and fall asleep on it. Breakfast was well organized; it did not include meat or eggs but had an assortment of bread, cheeses, and yogurts, along with orange juice. A nice yard with tables and chairs provided a green, intimate space to lounge, right inside of the walled city.

The owners are super nice, the view is incredible, food is great, beds are comfy, room is very clean, there were toys for our kids and we loved the private balcony with the view! It was really perfect. The only thing I can mention is that you check the restaurant prices beforehand, the dinner was very delicious but it basically costed as much as our room for one night with breakfast included.

Surrounded by green fields and apple orchards only 1 km from Lake Murten, the Château Salavaux dates from 1594. Carefully renovated Chateau that makes it feel fresh while preserving its original character. Extreme attention to detail in the decoration and superbly trained staff all around.

I really liked my stay, it was very unique. The owner and personal are super friendly! Welcome drink was a very nice surprise 😋

The breakfast was outstanding as well as the lunch. Beautiful little garden, comfortable room, nice shower. Complementary tea, coffee and water were appreciated.

Located in rural surroundings in Praz on the shore of Lake Murten, Hôtel Restaurant Cave Bel-Air offers a private beach, a garden and rooms with a balcony and beautiful views of the lake. The lake-side location, the garden terraces, the room size, and the comfort of the bed & bedding were all excellent. We were over the moon that there was a large fan in our room during the heatwave days of July. The staff was pleasant, kind and accommodating. The breakfast coffee was superb, the best I've had in my many visits to Switzerland.

Hotel de la Gare is situated along the Broye Canal, less than 500 metres from Lake Murten. It offers bright rooms with balconies and satellite TV in a tranquil location. On our way to Austria, very Nice stop. Excellent breakfast and very Nice tenant.

Housed in a historic building first mentioned in 1396, where such famous people as Casanova and Goethe once stayed, the Hotel Adler enjoys a central location in the Old Town of Murten. Although we arrived early and our rooms were not ready. they were kind enough to prepare the rooms for us as soon as possible and offered as coffee while we wait. Perfect host and customer service
