The view was memorizing, the tide differential in fathoms is 5.3 meters. Constantly something different to look at. You can hear the freighters/tankers before you see them. Real was very helpful in identifying places to eat. When I woke up in the morning to dining in a room surrounded by exquisite folk art along w/exceptional Canadian painters work I thought I was in a dream. Sebastian is a true professional hotelier. No detail is overlooked.

Located in Saint-Jean-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Auberge Le P'tit Bonheur was built in 1647. Being located off the main road, we are cut off from traffic noise. Free WiFi access is available. First of all, we loved the place at first sight, it is so cute! It is far from the road so it is quiet. You can easily park. The staff is very welcomig and helpful (lot of tips). I highly recommend :)

Located in Sainte-Famille, Auberge au Poste de Traite offers an on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available. A TV, air conditioning and view are included in each room at this inn. The buffet breakfast has everything you would ever want or need….regional items such as waffle bits with local maple syrup, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses and other breads, too. You will not walk away hungry! But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.
