The rooms are nice, comfortable and have a good size. Bathrooms are also good. What I appreciated the most is the professionality and good manners of the young staff at the reception, they should school some of the other hotels in Plovdiv and Sofia.

Situated at the heart of Plovdiv, on the side of river Maritsa, Grand Hotel Plovdiv looks out towards Plovdiv Old Town and the picturesque Rhodope Mountains. Everything. They gave us an upgrade in the room we had rented and free access to the swimming pool and the spa for the three of us. The hotel staff were really helpful with a little problem we had with our rental car. Great location to walk everywhere and great view from the window. Private free parking underground. Little presents for our daughter and some sweets at our arrival and more sweets when we arrived back to our room in the evening. Great breakfast (except for the coffee and the juices)
