We stayed only for one night on our way to Bastogne, but everything was perfect. Amazing breakfast with great variety - eggs, cheese, yogurt, sweets, fruit, fresh bread and croissants. Nicely and fully equiped accomodation.

Le Chant du Merle is located in Neufchâteau, in the Belgium Luxembourg region. The owners serve a delicious breakfast with several quality products produced by local farmers: meat, eggs, cheese,... The breakfast is served on a glazed terrace at a height where you have a magnificent view of the hills and can spot births (I was lucky to have seen the common blackbird (from which the name of the house 'Le chant du Merle' is derived) and swallows (which I have not seen soo many since my youth). If I would not have a further commitment, I would have spent my whole morning sitting at that nice location and watching nature from there or reading a book. Ideal location for hiking and cycling. The bedroom is very quiet and I have not slept better this year. I would definitely go back another time.
