Boasting an outdoor saltwater pool, free on-site parking and BBQ facilities, Port Douglas Motel is just 3 minutes' walk from Four Mile Beach. In summary everything went well - it was a wonderful experience overall! Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. Such a comfortable, homely place. They provide so many extras at no charge. Bikes, beach gear, chilly bins, books games and DVDs. So close to the shops and beach. They don't service the rooms daily but make it easy for one to get extra towels if required, or empty bins if required. Loved our time there!

Terrassiga Ocean Palms Apartments asub Port Douglas'es, vaid 500 meetri kaugusel Four Mile'i rannast ja Crystalbrooki Superyachtjahisadamast. We loved the place, really cozy and modern at the same time, everything was so clean, we had a really nice time!

Mossman Gorge B&B on traditsiooniline hommikusöögiga majutusasutus vihmametsade ümbruses. Location, facilities, location. On first arrival it appears you are driving into a regular street on a regular road. The property is on the edge of the forest and you completely feel immersed in raintrees.

And Amanda and Peter were great hosts! Helping us with booking tours. Both to the reefs and Daintre. Making our stay just fantastic! We so hope to come back!
