They went above and beyond to make sure our large group was taken care of. They even mailed us some ski clothing we had left behind. The rooms were comfortable and I really appreciated their efforts to help us disconnect and enjoy the space. The location was stunning! We went in January and the hills were beautiful but I could see how it would equally gorgeous in the summer months.

A traditional hotel at the foot of the Rax Mountain, the Knappenhof offers a wellness area with sauna and steam bath, and a restaurant with a large terrace serving regional and seasonal dishes. Location at the foot of the Rax was stunning. Sauna and steam room a treat. Meals were excellent. Coffee at breakfast was really good. What I am most grateful for was staff friendliness and support when I had to figure out logistics of leaving the country early due to a sudden lockdown.

Located in Schwarzau am Steinfelde, Gartenlofts auf Gut Guntrams features a garden and terrace. There is also a swimming pond with views of the orchards. I have had the pleasure of staying at the Gartenlofts a couple of times now, and I would say it is an experience that everyone should try at least once! The staff is very friendly, makes you feel very welcome, and you can always count on them. The location is beautiful, and the Gartenlofts are very unique. The whole place has a very calming atmosphere, the other visitors seemed very nice too. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Hotel garni Steinfeld is located in Wiener Neustadt’s industrial area, next to the airfield and just a 5-minute walk from the Arena Nova event centre and the FH Wiener Neustadt. Breakfast was ok. Staff was excellent. I was there with my two dogs for a search and rescue training nearby - my dogs were welcome, so were I. It's a simple family and friendly hotel - I didn't need anything fancy, actually I like more this kind of atmosphere.
