Set in Sankt Wolfgang, Seetalblick features a restaurant and terrace. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is provided. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in (and that’s not a short list). We were only here one night, but I struggled to leave. The drive up the mountain to this remote lodge was well worth it and even added to the charm of feeling tucked away into the trees. The staff were exceptional - down to earth while offering top notch service. We walked into the room and immediately fell in love. The view is truly otherworldly and the room has the tasteful decor to match. The bed was like a cloud - we even snuck a peek at the brands to see if we might replicate at home. The restaurant/bar inside the hotel is great: offering the cozy specialities you want in Austria like Wiener schnitzel and aperol spritz. We also really enjoyed the breakfast that was included the next morning. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone - whether you’re in the area or not (it’s worth the hike!) - and I can’t wait to be back for a longer stay.

Offering panoramic views over the Mur Valley, Almidylle Sabathy is located at 1,620 metres above sea level, 30 km from Judenburg. We liked everything with our 2 night stay at the guesthouse. The staff were so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to meet our demands since we were traveling with our 7 month old baby. They put a microwave in our room so we would be able to heat food for our baby 24/7. We had the three course dinner one night and the food was unbelievably good. We were told breakfast would be served at 8 o’clock and once we got downstairs in the mornings the breakfast was already on the table waiting for us. The nature is breathtakingly beautiful and the view from the bedroom as well. We can’t wait to go back. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place and highly recommended if you’re traveling with kids. They have everything you need and they are extremely hospitable.

Set directly on the Mur River, Hotel-Gasthof Restaurant Murblick is a 10-minute walk from the Old Town of Judenburg. It offers free Wi-Fi and free underground parking. Owner and staff were absolutely fabulous. For a non German speaker it was great to have full English interactions.

Located on the outskirts of Judenburg, 1a Hotel Steiner is just 50 metres from the local climbing hall and tennis courts. The breakfast was very delicious. The location is perfect - near the bus terminal to Spielberg and the train station.

Located right in the centre of Judenburg, the Stadthotel Schwerterbräu can be found just around the corner from the main square. It features a breakfast room with a rooftop terrace. We had nice and big room, there was no noise from the surrounding streets during the night, sleeping was very vell, the stuff very kind and helpful. Breakfast very good. I have nothing to complain and I can recommend this property.

JUFA Hotel Judenburg*** occupies a former Jesuit monastery in the centre of the medieval trading town of Judenburg in Upper Styria. The best location,amazing garden/park and the best playroom for kids,overall this is the place to stay in Judenburg!

Family-owned since 1630, Landhotel Groggerhof is a cosy country inn in Obdach in Upper Styria, combining a historical ambience and Biedermeier furnishings with modern comfort. Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff and the breakfast was absolutely the best I have had in Austria so far.
