The new four-star superior resort GLEMM by AvenidA promises luxury, comfort and a breathtaking panoramic view in the middle of Salzburger Land. The location of the hotel was well placed, with great views of the surround alps/mountains. The room facilities were great, with lots of storage and a small balcony to relax on. The spa facilities were great, with two saunas and a indoor lounge area, great for relaxing after a day of skiing. The staff were friendly and the restaurant and breakfast were of high quality.

Der Burgblick-Adults Only in Werfen is located 2 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen. It offers great views of Hohenwerfen Castle, which is just 500 metres away. Staying at Hotel Burgblick was a huge pleasure. The hotel is rebuilt from an old family house. It has amazing views of the Hohenwerfen Castle - both day and night. The rooms are clean and spacious and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was large. Chocolates were presented in the rooms. We were greeted upon arrival with a very fine glass of wine and a nice conversation with the owner. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. The breakfast was one of the tastiest and freshest breakfasts of any we've experienced in our many travels. Highly highly recommended.

Located in Werfenweng, the Zistelberghof offers an à la carte restaurant, a small wellness area, and a games room. Free WiFi is available. We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel near Salzburg to make a 1-night stop-over on our way to the South of Europe. For the selected dates this hotel was the only one offering reasonable price. Friendly staff. No problems to stay with pets (we were travelling with a dog). Free parking area with plenty of space. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was nice. No need to look for alternatives. Very clean rooms with new furniture. A huge advantage for families with children: hotel has an own playground to keep your kids busy and excited, while you are waiting for your food in restaurant. Internet connection was stable and reasonably fast.

Big rooms, great big comfortable bed, very pretty sitting area in the corner, very nice bathroom. Everything is super clean, daily cleaning very good, the view is nice and we liked the small details such as chocolates, magazine, flowers etc. Fitness room is well equipted, but in wellness area it would be better if there were at least 1 or 2 private saunas. But there are a lot of them so there is a lot of choice! Breakfast is very good, lots of choices, even vegan & vegetarian options (much appreciated). Parking is spaceous and great. Staff is very nice! We really liked everyone in Austria generally, everyone is so nice, and so is the staff in this hotel. Thank you and we will be back to stay more than 2 nights for sure! All best.
