The hosts and staff are so friendly offering to help if we need something extra, They also have pool and lovely reception area that doubles up as communal area come breakfast if you ask. Spent 5 nights at this fabulous lodge. We did a number of full day or half day activities which the proprietor helped to arrange for us and every detail was worked out, ensuring all we had to do was relax and be wowed. Returning to the luxury of the lodge and cooling off in the pool and the stunning grounds was a perfect way to finish off those days. We supplemented the chilling out process with drinks from the expertly curated selection of fine South African wines or beers, spirits and soft drinks. The interior of the lodge and the private suite could only be described as luxurious opulence furnished with many beautiful African artefacts. And as if all of that is not enough we enjoyed ample beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts. We were also privileged to play host to families of nyalas and warthogs who visited the area just outside our bedroom window and patio doors to feast on fallen amarula fruits. Wow wow wow !!!

The room with the spa is by far the best and most outstanding. We were lucky enough to get it for one night in our stay and will certainly spring for it next time. The property manager was quick to help us with any issues or planning logistics. Staff, especially Amu were so sweet and nice to be around and helpful. It was a great place to stay and for great value. We would spend a week here if we could!

This hotel is a sight to be seen. I felt like I was staying in a multi-thousand dollar-a-night hotel within the game reserve. The decorations, the size of the room, the bed, the cotton sheets, and the view of monkeys and other animals outside my sliding glass door. The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.
