Spectacular site with ancient temples.
Spectacular site with ancient temples. The park in itself must be left to imagination, since there is not much to be seen. The ticket vendor tries to push a full tour ticket tour to you, quite aggressively. The catacombs is not worth paying for. We were promised an english speaking guide, however an Italian speaking guide showed up - basta!

We saw the Lido Garibaldi.
We saw the Lido Garibaldi. Although a nice looking place over the sea, it was rather sad and desolate due to being out of season. There seems to be a lot of private villas and houses for renting in season. They also have a campsite. It doesn't strike me as your typical tourist resort, more nature. The sea and the cliffs remind one of Dover. They also have an archaeological spot to visit nearby

Most amazing sand beaches with trees along the beach...
Most amazing sand beaches with trees along the beach provodibg the shade and not many people at all. Plus water is warmer and calm. Worth driving 30 mins from Agrigento , we stayed a week and went 3 times . San Leanne was too open/ hot without umbrella and thousands of people .
