Being close to nature with the comfort of living on a large antique vessel. The uniqueness of it all. The surrounding quietness. Appreciated it all. The eggs and bacon provision, the bottle of wine (dinner) - all unexpected reflecting the thoughtfulness of the host.

This house was very well equipped and we loved the fairy lights. Helen was a lovely host and rang before we got there to check if we had any questions. The location was amazing. Easy walk to the bakery every morning and to the pub for dinner plus Horseshoe Bay wasn't too far. 🙂 Also a great spot to base ourselves while we finished hiking the Wild South Coast Way.

Everything. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, excellent customer service. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Dinner was also lovely and drinks are reasonable, not overpriced.

This time sat outside the lounge and enjoyed dinner.

Old time rustic with modern appointments throughout. Fantastic qr code help for appliances. Great location, great layout, indoors and out.

Our patio backed onto the golf course and was delightful. On arrival we sat outside with a glass of wine watching the kangaroo. It was so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our Asian dinner too.

The whole stay was awesome. Great views from the balcony, lovely big bath and they supply bath sheets. Ordered dinner from the onsite restaurant and it was amazing. Loved our stay. Would definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised by how convenient the hotel was from the town, ample parking, great food. My parents were pleased with the rooms. However that their toilet door needed loving. We loved that the balcony overlooked the sea. Nil issues for my single room except that it was slightly dusty. Everything adds on to the rustic vibes to the accomodation. We had a good dinner at their diner as well!

Spacious, comfortable and clean 2 bedroom cottage in close proximity to the Cape Jervis Tavern for dinner and 5 minutes from the ferry terminal to Kangaroo Island. Very cosy on a cold night due to the air conditioner and a separate heater for the bedroom if required.
