Your host lives in the second unit upstairs & remains out of sight/sound unless you need him! THIS SPACE HAS IT ALL! You’ll enter past a trickling fountain and descend into a serene backyard with a patio surrounding the infinity pool and outdoor living spaces. There is a peak view of the harbor from the hot tub. A large dining table and grill area calls for evenings outdoors, especially with the new heater above the table for cooler nights. Four sets of sliding glass doors open directly into the front living room. Fresh flowers and a guidebook will await you. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have pool and backyard views/sliding glass door access. A twin bedroom is in the back (nice and quiet for kids). All the beds have stylish cotton quilts and 100% organic cotton sheets. The sparkling blue living room entices with hi-end leather furniture, gas fireplace and brand-new game console. A 2nd, spacious living room offers a comfy sectional sofa for movie nights. Nearby is the dining nook for intimate dinners, a powder room and full bath/ laundry room. The cheerful, galley kitchen is equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, stovetop, toaster oven and popcorn popper as well as pots and pans.

The house is one street up from the protected Shelter Island yachting basin, home to three yacht clubs and hundreds of boats/super-yachts. Strolling along the bayside foot path and to the village is a favorite pastime. The narrow strip of beach provides very easy access for all the ocean toys we provide. An 8-minute walk down the path brings you to the larger and protected Kellogg beach, teaming with kids in the summer. The intimate “village” of Point Loma is a five-minute walk, offering delicious seafood along the harbor as well as Italian, Thai, Japanese, Mexican and American cuisine as well as a number of popular watering holes. Liberty Station, packed with restaurants, movie theatres, an arts district and open spaces galore is a ten-minute drive. Our favorite gym, Point Loma Sports Club, is extremely well-outfitted and located in Liberty Station. We are happy to offer free access during your stay. Of course, there are many attractions to explore throughout the city. Ride-sharing services are readily available in addition to the 6-person golf cart. Your host is always there to help with bookings and recommendations for boating, watersports, or nearby attractions. PLEASE NOTE- This space is excellent for family vacations or relaxing getaways. This is a tranquil neighborhood. Out of respect for our neighbors, we do not allow parties or loud music. Quiet hours 10pm-7am and no pool or spa use during that time.
