I am Krešimir, I grew up in Rakovica where my family lives but currently I live and study in Zagreb. My family has been in the hospitality business for 14 years. Boutique Apartments Nikola Tesla are a family project in which we put a lot of hard work. As a host, I will do my best to make my guests feel welcome and like at home. Because it was made to feel like home. Also, I make great BBQ and killer cocktails so we are going to have a lot of fun on the swimming pool next summer :) (still in construction so no photos). Looking forward to see you!

Rakovica is surrounded by numerous attractions and sights. Except Plitvice Lakes, you can visit the small water village Rastoke or maybe the beautiful Barac caves. If you feel like it, you can take a swim in the river Korana. You can go hiking, ziplining, on a bike tour, on a quad buggy tour, kayaking....The options are endless. There is an adrenalin park and outdoor paintball nearby. If you don't mind driving, you can visit the town of Bihać right across the border or to the village Smiljan, birthplace of Nikola Tesla, which is now a museum.
