I came to the island 25 years ago as a backpacker for 4 nights and fell in love with it. We live and work nearby in Nelly Bay.

Property info

Nestled amongst the boulders, the views are absolutely spectacular from this one bedroom home. Just moments from the ferry terminal and all Nelly Bay has to offer, you'll feel tucked away in your private hideaway. Wake up to see the sun rising over the ocean from your bed. Enjoy amazing ocean views, whatever the weather, from every room or the many outdoor seating areas. And 'The Boulders' are not just outside, the home is built around them and over them, creating a unique character home. Just a very short (uphill) walk from the ferry terminal, supermarket, bottle shops, restaurants and cafes. A brand new pool is being added while the property is closed in early 2024 (photos to be updated upon completion). NB Both the house and land contain many steps and uneven surfaces. Children and babies are not allowed as they cannot be safe at this property. Pets are also not allowed due to all the visiting wildlife - wallabies and birds are daily visitors and the property is regularly used by people with allergies. Suited to singles or couples only. No more than two guests are to stay at the property overnight. While guests may invite their friends for a few hours, strictly no parties, functions or overnight stays are allowed as the onsite septic tank is old and cannot accommodate extra usage.

Neighborhood info

The house is just 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, bottle shop, hire cars and bus stops. Its a beautiful scenic walk over Gabul Way to Arcadia. The neighbours on Boulder Court are owner occupiers while if you head out onto the rocks below the house, youll realise that Bright Point is also a neighbour, but the rocky headland keeps perfect separation!
