This charming cottage—attached to the main house where the owners reside, but separated by a fence—offers a private entrance and bright and airy living spaces across two levels, with the lower lounge area extending to a paved patio and backyard lawn where elevated views take in the wider Newcastle region. Downstairs, you’ll find all you need in the modern kitchen to prepare food at home, and a four-seater table where you can share meals. A cosy sofa is ideal for relaxed afternoons curled up with a good book, while glass doors open out to a paved patio area and a pet-friendly backyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine with sweeping city views. Upstairs, a second lounge area is complete with a generous sofa and wall-mounted TV for laidback movie nights, while central air-conditioning ensures year-round comfort. Two bedrooms sleep four guests, with the primary bedroom offering a king-size bed while the second bedroom includes two king singles, making this an ideal stay for a family getaway. The bathroom is appointed with a shower, vanity and mirror as well as complimentary toiletries to refresh after a day at the beach. A washing machine/dryer combo is also available, while other conveniences include WiFi, a deskspace and free street parking 24/7.

Bar Beach is just across the road via the popular Newcastle Memorial Walk, where you can enjoy cooling sea breezes and stunning coastal views. Grab a coffee at Swell Kiosk and wander to neighbouring Dixon Park Beach, a resting spot along the popular Bather's Walk, where you'll find public BBQs and picnic tables. The cafes and restaurants of Darby St. and the supermarkets and essentials at Junction Fair Shopping Centre are both within a few minutes' drive.
