Situated just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Velenje, Hostel Velenje is set 100 metres from the river. The location is great, the room was really clean and everything that we needed. The host was super nice and available to help you with anything at all times.

This is a fabulous hostel in every way. Wonderful common areas. The shared room was huge and had a couch. tv and kitchen. The beds are great and the hosts very friendly. I was worried about being in a shared room but it was so spacious it was no problem.

But, this is more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The rooms were quiet and each decorated by a local artist. I learned most about the town by sleeping here than I would have on a guided tour.
