Set in the quiet, scenic surroundings of Österlen, this hostel is found in the Verkeån Nature Reserve. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Good wifi. I booked this as a base for exploring Skåne but could easily have stayed a week just relaxing. A nice walk to a nearby cafe.

The staff found a place to store our bikes without problem. They were super kind and accommodating. Food was delicious, both the breakfast buffet and the dinner - definitely go for the extra full menu if you can, and try the local wine! The jacuzzi was a nice addition too. The vandrarhem is inside an old farmhouse and it's gorgeous. It's very calm, close to the lake, and got the best two nights of sleep. Well-equipped kitchen and free tea and coffee. Definitely will come back!

The place is really extremely tidy. Not a thing out of place, not a spec of dust or dirt on anything. It needs to be said that while we were there, it was rather empty so that helps keep a place tidy, but still. This place was impeccable. In addition: the kitchen really is well equipped and the shared living room is very nice. Large tv, multiple areas to sit. Just a cut above any other hostels I know.
