Amazing location, watched the sunrise from the beach everyday as it was a couple minutes walk and there's a view point and an amazing beach (where there was nobody) about a 40-50 min walk away. Right next to a bus stop to go into town if you wanted to. A place to go if you want to escape busy life and just relax

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. It was easy to request parking and the parking area was very close to the hostel. The hostel had plenty of space and a nice outdoor hangout courtyard. It was a convenient walk to the downtown area. I loved how the parking deck key could allow you to come and go very freely over the 24 hours of parking. I'd honestly recommend staying here at this hostel for more day trips out of Funchal. Funchal is a great area and this parking perk is a really huge convenience in my opinion (there were a lot of times when I wanted to pop back into Funchal, but was a little dismayed because of the parking options).

Santa Maria este un hostel tip boutique cu decor în stil vintage, situat într-o clădire istorică tradițională din orașul vechi din Funchal. Santa Maria Hostel is located in the heart of Funchal, and its old charming neighborhood that is full of bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are really comfortable, nice and have nice touches, as well as the whole hostel. The staff was amazing, they helped us a lot, recommended great car-rentals and were very nice and warm people.

Jaca Hostel Funchal se află în Funchal, la 9 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Almirante Reis, și include o grădină, un bar și vedere la mare. The staff is super nice and accommodated us even though they really didn't need to. Thank you so much again. This is a lovely place in the city center.
