Hoppa Guest House Nile View has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Luxor. The owner and Bilal make a good stay. No hassle, good information, always available, but (!) not in your space. Hoppa is a very good, very cute, extremely friendly and comfortable place. 5 or 6 decent rooms with airconditioning, a really good and clean pool and a kitchen with all you need (fridge, stove, kitchen stuff) to make your own breakfast or otherwise. The good feel of old hippy times, but with 5 star facilities. Excellent warm showers! On the south end of Luxor, under ten minutes by taxi (50-100 EGP) in a quiet mosk free area with a square where local kids play later in the day. Easy to mix up with them.

Conveniently located in the East bank district of Luxor, Alam B&B Luxor is set 500 metres from Luxor Museum, 1.9 km from Luxor Train Station and 18 km from Medinet Habu Temple. This lovely hotel is located in the best part of the city for touristic visits; with a room and balconies facing the Sphinx road connecting Luxor and Karnak Temples, it’s 3 minutes walking distance to the Nile River, Luxor Museum, as well as to the Luxor Temple. Taxis and horse carriages are always available at the end of the street, as well as the ferry and sailboat ports that are all 3 to 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can walk to Karnak Museum in 25 minutes. The place is very clean, lovely and cozy with a simple and nice decoration. The breakfasts that Mrs. Adel prepares are amazing, and makes you more than full for the day long, with his little boy Muhammed they make your day sunny with a full smile. Mohaz is helpful with everything you need, and off course, Mr. Omar, the manager of the place is a beautiful kind person with the best English that you may find around and he is eager to arrange your travel needs in minutes. As if it’s all is not enough, there is also a beautiful restaurant downstairs 😊. What else you can expect from a small hotel in Luxor?

Well set in the West bank district of Luxor, Magic Place Luxor is located 1.3 km from Medinet Habu Temple, 2.2 km from Colossi of Memnon and 2.3 km from Deir el-Medina. Ahmed, his wife and the entire family made us feel at home, and treated us as family, they allowed us to experience the local Egyptian culture, we stayed for 6 days and enjoyed every minute, the entire family was very attentive to our needs and helped us with any questions we had. Ahmed made us a private tour package at a excellent price with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Ahmed wife cooked amazing, delicious meals for us, we ate better at magic place than any 5 star restaurants in our visit to Egypt. The property was very clean, very comfortable, the hot water and pressure was outstanding, linen very clean, well located in a typical Egyptian neighborhood, very safe and near all archeological sites. Ahmed thank you for allow us to be part of your family, we arrived as guess and departed as Family, we will definitely come back and stay at Magic place. We highly recommend Magic Place to everyone.

Located in the village of El Gezira, Ramsess Hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. The public ferry on the west bank of the Nile is just minutes away. Breakfast was delicious, a fresh egg dish that tasted amazing. The bedrooms were painted really vibrant colours. The place has a lovely outdoor courtyard with a tree that you eat breakfast in. The host Nasser is really kind and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I did not feel pushed to do anything I didn't want to. Nasser helped organise a hot air balloon ride when I asked, he picked me up from the bus station when I arrived. The hotel also did my laundry for a small extra charge. I really felt at home at this hotel. The upper floors have a gorgeous view of the Nile and it's a relaxed place to be. Tea was offered sometimes without any charge. Overall, the best hotel I stayed at Egypt with tremendous value for money.

Boasting a bar, SWEET HOSTEL LUXOR offers accommodation in Luxor, 400 metres from Luxor Train Station and 2.5 km from Luxor Museum. We had a very nice experience, we are very grateful for welcoming us to Luxor. They guided us around Luxor, we did all the tours together with their help, which was very handy and made us feel safe. Also amazing breakfast and also every body at the hostel was super kind and nice!

Venus Hostel is just a 5-minute walk away from Luxor Temple. The staff can arrange for bicycle rental and car hire. All rooms at Venus Hostel comes with a balcony or a window overlooking the city. We really enjoyed our stay at Venus! It was comfortable, complete with an AC, a large balcony, and fast wifi, and the location was very central. The staff were exceptionally friendly--particularly Adneny and Bakar, who we got to chatting with and became friends with :) Luxor beledna!

Featuring a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Happy Land Luxor is set in Luxor, 1.1 km from Luxor Train Station and 3.3 km from Luxor Museum. The owner and staff were really nice. There is taxi avaible to the hotel for a good price. The room was good. Breakfast was deliciosus. Wifi was working properly. He helped us arrange programmes in Luxor for good price and helped us a lot with other stuff. If I go to Luxor again, I will contact him for sure to book trips because he is reliable and friendly.

Bob Marley House Hostel ligger i sentrum av Luxor, i gangavstand fra Luxor-tempelet. Very nice staff helped us organize amazing affordable tours around Luxor. The place is very cosy in the city center at a very cheap price. Thank you for all the kindness and unforgettable memories 🙂✨
